The platform
Every plant, model, requirement, study, contract and deliverable in one place, with the automated procedures that do the work on top of it. Engineers work in it every day. Auditors read from it. Nobody chases a file.
What the Dashboard holds
A typical plant can have many hundreds of pieces of equipment, thousands of settings, and more than 5,000 trusted source documents verifying each one. Everything else depends on this foundation.
FERC/NERC, PUC, ISO/RTO, TO/TOP requirements mapped down to the specific line on every single page. The North American grid has 135,000 distinct requirements. We track the ones that apply to each of your plants, automatically.
PSCAD, PSS®E, PSLF and TSAT models built, benchmarked and verified against plant settings, then run by our modeling engineers in the simulation engine.
Consulting procedures encoded as automated steps that run the same way every time: ride-through evaluations, reactive capability verification, model validation, settings sheets, self-reports.
PMU, SER and DFR ingestion, automated event identification and analysis against grid code, on the same models the plant was built with.
Compliance reports with automated pass or fail assessment, customized to each company's templates for fleet consistency.
Automated model quality testing
GridStrong runs EMT and positive sequence model quality tests across entire interconnection queues. Every simulation runs in an isolated virtual environment that is destroyed once it finishes, for maximum security. We support an unlimited number of test suites, and each client can effortlessly build their own.
NERC reliability standards
Regional ISO/RTO/TO model quality tests
Tools
The Dashboard tracks the active model of record across every platform, and our engineers run simulations that are fully transparent and traceable by you. Models are compared to as-left settings from the source documents, such as relay database files, HMI settings and single-line diagrams, and updated with the OEM in the same record.
Every spreadsheet goes away
A generation fleet runs on dozens of spreadsheets that nobody owns and everybody depends on. Each one becomes a live, versioned, permissioned part of the Dashboard, and the chasing that went with it stops.
What changes for the asset owner
Every study runs against the operative rulebook with automated pass or fail and the benchmark it was checked against. The result does not depend on which consultant got your file.
Initial results and the organized inputs are in the Dashboard within 72 hours, so your team can self-serve while the engineering finishes.
You watch the runs and read the intermediate results. Nothing is hand-built on a laptop and emailed back as a PDF.
Models, settings, evidence and deadlines live in your system of record and stay when the engagement ends.
Security and enterprise
Federation to Microsoft Entra ID or Okta is a configuration step. Access is role-based by department, function and asset.
TLS in transit, encryption at rest, customer files never sent to third-party services and never outside infrastructure GridStrong controls.
A full audit trail on every action, CEII-aware handling, and every customer record stored in locations covered by SOC 2 or similar attestations.
A working session with a GridStrong engineer on your plants, your standards and your queue positions.
